Russian Generals + fame of today = this.

Gerhard Richter

Paintings often originating from a photograph or newspaper clipping. Some stunning images and powerful subjects of political importance.

Alex Gross

Bizarre and beautiful paintings from Alex Gross.

Julia Randall

Bizarre yet beautiful. These slightly disturbing ultra real paintings are stunning. Looking forward to seeing more of Julia Randalls' tongue.

The Monster Engine

What would a child’s drawing look like if it were painted realistically? Artist Dave DeVries set out to answer that question which return some amazing and disturbing results. You can purchase 'The Monster Engine' here.

Alyssa Monks

Hyper-real oil paintings from Alyssa Monks. Interesting subject matter, sexy and inspiring. Wet.

Jasper Johns

As my personal favourite artist of all time it was inevitable that Johns would end up on Drivinghorse. He painted flags, targets, numbers and maps from the mid 50's onwards, primarily using encaustic, collage and stencils. Like all paintings only a gallery viewing will do them justice, failing that there are some very well printed books on his work.

Jeremy Geddes

Beautiful paintings of cosmonauts getting up to all sorts of shenanigans by Jeremy Geddes.
